Public Policy and Advocacy
The Public Policy strategy is to encourage the adoption of governmental tools, guidelines and incentives to support the realization of Downtown’s full potential.
The DSP will utilize an enhanced Public Policy process to engage membership to advocate important Downtown issues, regional legislative and capital initiatives advantageous to Downtown.
Each year the DSP participates with the community in development of a legislative agenda of important capital projects and legislative issues to take to Olympia and Washington, DC to advance the Downtown mission.
