Planning and Design Strategy

The Planning and Design strategy is to create a beautiful, pedestrian-oriented urban environment maximizing the unique appeal of a Downtown offering employment, culture, entertainment, and natural assets.

In partnership with the City of Spokane and other partners, the DSP will continue to implement the Plan for a New Downtown Action Items to facilitate development initiatives and be prepared to react quickly and decisively to Downtown challenges and opportunities consistent with the Plan for a New Downtown.
