Getting to and around Downtown Spokane is easy!

If you come downtown in your car, park and enjoy the city as a pedestrian. If you are heading for a particular destination and feel confused in any way, look for Security Ambassadors, in rust and beige colored uniforms, for assistance.

If you park at a meter, read the sign on it as rules vary depending on location and time of day. Parking garages and lots are conveniently located and you will find one within a few blocks of your destination. Ask an attendant if you have any questions. If you park in an unattended lot, pay in the correct numbered box upon arrival or look for a kiosk with instructions.

If you want to go to the North Bank, you can catch a Downtown Shuttle at the Spokane Transit Authority Plaza and along Wall Street. Or simply enjoy a walk through Riverfront Park and across the river. The shuttle leaves every twenty minutes and stops at numerous places. It loops across the river and comes back Downtown.

Parking Downtown is accessible, available, and affordable. Many Downtown businesses participate in EasyPark validation, a park or ride program. If you make a purchase at participating business, request an EasyPark coupon valid for a dollar off parking or a ride home on the bus.

Coming Downtown on your motorcycle or scooter? Look for special parking stalls in these locations*:

  • The east side of Post Street, across from City Hall
  • The south side of Main Street, east of Red Robin
  • The north side of Main Street, west of Auntie's Bookstore
  • The south side of Spokane Falls Blvd., next to Wheatland Bank

*these parking stalls are converted back to regular parking spots in late fall and remain through winter.
